Kinexa Fitness — Risk Disclosure

KINEXA FITNESS

Risk Disclosure

Last updated: April 2026

Exercise carries inherent risks. This disclosure outlines risks specific to the Kinexa Fitness app.

1. Physical Injury Risk

Physical exercise of any kind carries risk of muscle strain, ligament damage, joint injury, cardiovascular events, and other physical harm. These risks increase with intensity, duration, pre-existing conditions, poor form, and inadequate rest. You are solely responsible for exercising within your abilities and stopping immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or distress.

2. Pre-Existing Medical Conditions

If you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, diabetes, musculoskeletal injuries, pregnancy-related concerns, or any other medical condition, consult your physician before using Kinexa or starting any workout suggested in the app. Kinexa cannot screen for medical conditions and its recommendations may not be appropriate for your situation.

3. GPS & Measurement Accuracy

GPS signals are affected by buildings, trees, weather, and device hardware. Distance, pace, and elevation figures are estimates, not exact measurements. Do not rely on Kinexa metrics for medical, safety-critical, or competitive-timing purposes.

4. Overtraining & Streak Pressure

Streak tracking and daily goal features are motivational tools. They are not medical recommendations. Continuing to train through injury, illness, or excessive fatigue to preserve a streak can cause lasting harm. Rest is part of training — skip a day when your body needs it.

5. Outdoor Training Awareness

When running, walking, or cycling outdoors with the app, remain aware of your surroundings. Using headphones or looking at your device reduces awareness of traffic, terrain, and hazards.

6. Service Availability

Kinexa Fitness may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time. Local data remains on your device, but cloud-dependent features (if any are added) may become unavailable. We recommend periodic exports of important training data.
