KINEXA FITNESS

Privacy Policy

Kinexa Fitness respects your privacy. Your workout, health, and location data stays on your device by default.

Data Collection

  • We do not collect personal information on remote servers.
  • Workout logs, training plans, and progress data are stored locally on your device.
  • No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs are included.
  • No account is required to use the app.

HealthKit & Health Data

  • With your permission, Kinexa reads and writes workout data, heart rate, active energy, and steps through Apple HealthKit.
  • All HealthKit data is managed by iOS and stored in the Apple Health database on your device.
  • Kinexa never transmits your HealthKit data to any server.
  • You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.

Location & GPS Tracking

  • GPS is used only during active workouts that you start (runs, walks, cycling).
  • Route data is recorded on-device and stored locally.
  • Kinexa does not transmit your location to any server.
  • You can disable location access at any time in iOS Settings.

Motion & Fitness Sensors

  • Accelerometer and motion data are used to detect activity type and count steps during workouts.
  • All motion data processing happens on-device.
  • No motion data is ever transmitted off-device.

Notifications

  • Kinexa sends local notifications for workout reminders, streak milestones, and daily goals.
  • Notification content is generated on-device; no data is sent to a push server.
  • You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

Data Storage & Deletion

  • All app data is stored using iOS local storage (UserDefaults and CoreData).
  • Data is included in encrypted iCloud or iTunes device backups if enabled, per Apple’s standard backup policies.
  • You can delete all Kinexa data at any time from Settings > Delete All Data, or by deleting the app.

Children’s Privacy

  • Kinexa is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
  • The app is rated 4+ in the App Store but provides general fitness guidance intended for teens and adults.
