KickIQ — Risk Disclosure

KICKIQ

Risk Disclosure

Last updated: April 2026

KickIQ involves physical training and AI-generated content. This disclosure outlines the risks specific to the app.

1. Physical Injury Risk

Soccer training involves running, sprinting, kicking, jumping, and contact with the ball or other players. These activities carry risk of muscle strain, ankle sprains, knee injury, concussion, and other harm. You are responsible for training within your ability, warming up properly, and using appropriate equipment. Minors should train under adult supervision.

2. AI Chat Limitations

AI chat responses are generated by third-party models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or contextually inappropriate. Safety filters reduce but do not eliminate the risk of unsafe output. You should not rely on AI chat for medical, psychological, or emergency advice. If you or someone you know is in crisis, contact local emergency services.

3. Minor Safety Risks

Despite our protections — age gating, parental consent, safety filters, minor-specific prompts, on-device-only chat history, report & block tools — no online product is completely risk-free for minors. Parents should supervise their child’s use, review account settings, and speak with their child about online safety. Report anything concerning via the in-app report button.

4. Content Accuracy

Drill explanations, technique tips, and AI coaching messages are generated algorithmically or by AI. They may not reflect the latest coaching science or be appropriate for your skill level or physical condition. Use judgement and, where possible, consult a qualified coach.

5. Service Availability

KickIQ may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time. Cloud-dependent features (AI chat, synced profiles) require network access and third-party provider uptime, and may become temporarily or permanently unavailable.

6. Third-Party AI Provider

AI chat requests are processed by third-party AI providers under their terms and privacy policies. We do not control their infrastructure, pricing, or data-handling practices. Provider policy changes may affect availability or behavior of the AI chat feature.
